GunAtlas exists because "is this a good price?" is the hardest question in gear shopping — and the industry profits from you not knowing the answer.

What we do

We track prices on shooting-sports accessories — optics, hearing and eye protection, range gear, and secure storage — record their history hour by hour, and alert readers when prices genuinely drop. Around that data we write buying guides that explain what specifications actually matter, where diminishing returns begin, and which marketing numbers deserve skepticism. Everything is built for one reader: someone about to spend real money who wants to spend it well.

What we deliberately don't do

GunAtlas does not list, sell, or link to firearms, ammunition, or firearm components — no receivers, barrels, triggers, magazines, or similar parts, ever. We cover the accessories and safety equipment around the shooting sports: the glass, the ear pro, the bags, the safes. Secure storage coverage in particular reflects something we believe plainly: locked-up firearms are a good thing.

How we make money

Affiliate commissions, disclosed everywhere they appear. When you buy through our links, the retailer pays us a percentage at no cost to you. Commission never changes a recommendation — our editorial policy spells out the wall between the two, and our methodology explains where every number on this site comes from.
